Our town is growing—and that’s something to be proud of. Rolesville has come a long way over the past few years, with more people choosing to call it home and new neighborhoods popping up all around us. As we grow alongside Raleigh, we’re becoming a more vibrant and connected community.
However, with that growth, we’ve also seen housing prices go up, and not everyone is finding it easy to stay here or move in. Right now, there aren’t enough different types of homes to meet the needs of all the families, seniors, young professionals, and others who want to live in Rolesville. Some of that is due to how our land use rules are set up today.
That’s why the Town of Rolesville is working with TPMA to take a closer look at how we can make housing more affordable and accessible for everyone. We’re listening to our neighbors, digging into the data, and looking at what’s working (and what’s not) to help guide our next steps.
Our goal is simple: to make sure Rolesville remains a place where people of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds can feel at home, now and for generations to come.
The Draft Housing Plan is available for review and comment below. Residents have until Monday, May 19, 2025, to provide feedback.
