By Transit (MicroLink)

MicroLink is GoRaleigh’s new on demand microtransit service. Unlike traditional fixed route service microtransit operates within a service zone by providing on demand rides within the zone. The MicroLink services operates under a curb-to-curb model, meaning riders may have to walk to a nearby street for their ride, this reduces wait times for all riders utilizing the service. MicroLink service will replace the 401X service. MicroLink will provide service to the Town of Rolesville as well as connections to popular destinations in Wake Forest, and the WRX service to downtown Raleigh. Rolesville’s MicroLink service is a pilot that will continue through June 30th, 2025.

MicroLink operates from 7am – 6pm Monday through Friday. MicroLink does not operate on Holidays. Trips can be requested any time within the service period. MicroLink is an on-demand service meaning trips cannot be booked in advance.

The easiest way to request a ride is through the MicroLink App (link). Rides can also be booked by calling our reservation center at (919) 996-3459. MicroLink does not offer advanced booking.

Riders must be 13 years or older. Riders under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are not allowed on MicroLink.

By Air

You can drive to Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) usually in about 30 minutes.  

Triangle North Executive Airport is about 17 minutes away, located in Louisburg, N.C.

By Train

The nearest Amtrak station is Raleigh Union Station (RGH) which is about a 30 minute drive from Rolesville.
