The Police Department will accomplish this mission by:

AGENCY DIVISIONS
The Rolesville Police Department is comprised of two separate divisions made up of 23 full time sworn and non-sworn personnel, as well as two part-time sworn personnel. The Police Captain is assigned to oversee the agency’s Patrol and Support Services Divisions. The Captain reports directly to the Chief of Police. These two positions make up the Rolesville Police Department’s Command Staff.
Patrol Division
The agency’s Patrol Division is divided into six patrol squads that provide continuous law enforcement services to the Town of Rolesville. The Patrol Division is supervised by two Shift Commanders holding the rank of Lieutenant, and are supplemented by six shift supervisors holding the rank of Sergeant. The remaining personnel are line officers with varying classifications: Police Officer I, Police Officer II, Master Police Officer, and Senior Police Officer.
Support Services Division
The Support Services Division is comprised of the Investigative Unit and School Resource Officers. The Support Services Division includes four sworn officers, and is supervised by a Detective Sergeant.
