The amphitheater at Mill Bridge Nature Park is now closed for renovations. Work is expected to last a few months.
The amphitheater and the path leading to it will be closed during the construction. Please use the trail on the other side of the parking lot to access the rest of the park.
The renovations are partially funded by the Accessible Parks Grant Program. This program allows for either the construction of special facilities or the adaption of existing facilities to meet the unique needs of people living with disabilities. The Town announced in August 2024 that it was awarded $202,162 to renovate the amphitheater.
The money is part of a bigger state-wide initiative through the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund to ensure all public parks are Americans with Disabilities Act-complaint.
