Completion of Wallbrook Off-site Sewer Project

Per the private contractor performing the Wallbrook Off-site Sewer Project, principle work and repairs are anticipated to conclude by the end of this week. Virginia Water Drive repairs are well underway, with the initial layer of asphalt and damaged curbing replacement; the latter requires several days for curing before the final layer of street asphalt can be installed.

Tasks that may occur throughout the first half of March will include addressing any "yard" type damages in public right-of-ways or on nearby residences, installation of seed/straw/matting in those areas, and temporary erosion control measures upon receiving approval from Wake County.

Additionally, repairs to the private Greenway path through the Carlton Point HOA tract are underway, and the Greenway trail is expected to be fully repaired in the near future.

All work and the above mentioned timelines are contingent on weather conditions.
