The Town of Rolesville has an ordinance in place which regulates the use of land. This ordinance’s purpose is to accomplish a coordinated, balanced, and harmonious development of the land within the corporate limits and ETJ (extraterritorial jurisdiction) in a manner which will best promote the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity, and general welfare of the people.

The Town of Rolesville has various zoning districts regulating different uses of property. These districts are assigned to areas and parcels of land within Rolesville’s jurisdiction. A copy of this zoning map can be obtained by clicking here. This map will be updated as districts are amended and altered by the Town Board of Commissioners. Please contact the Planning Department to be assured that the website contains the most up-to-date copy.
